

Gino Labate, Maestro, coreografo e da alcuni anni anche direttore artistico di un importante festival dedicato a questa bellissima arte, il Labat Loano Festival.
Gino è conosciuto per le sue partecipazioni a trasmissioni televisive come Fantastico 9 e 10, Serata d’Onore e Luna di miele. Ha anche preso parte ad importanti produzioni quali Giselle, nel ruolo di primo ballerino accanto a Carla Fracci, Pulcinella, nel ruolo di solista, e ancora Il Principe di legno, sempre nel ruolo di solista.
Continua a creare e trasmettere la sua passione per la danza,in tutte le sue espressioni, in piena libertà e soprattutto rende accessibile a tutti il senso dell’arte.
Per attuare tutto ciò, sta lavorando ed ha lavorato molto alla creazione Eventi che hanno come scopo principale la promozione di importanti percorsi di danza soprattutto formativi. ed alla ricerca del talento premiandolo ed, inserendolo in grandi Accademie e Scuole Professionali come come il Balletto di Cuba e il Pre Professional di Barcellona.
Ha creato e portato Italia una sorta di succursale del Balletto di Cuba, con insegnanti cubani e danzatori professionisti.

Punto di partenza educativo la metodologia di danza classica cubana.
Il progetto, nato da un’idea del maestro ed è diretto alla formazione di insegnanti ed allievi di scuole o istituzioni di carattere pubblico o privato ed ha come obiettivo principale il perfezionamento delle capacità artistiche e didattiche, un’ opportunità unica per tutti coloro che non hanno seguito studi regolari di danza e un cammino di perfezionamento per chi è già in possesso di un titolo.

La metodologia della Escuela Cubana di Balletto è riconosciuta nella Legge n. 59/1997 dell’UNESCO. Creatore, direttore artistico e nominato Responsabile, per l’Italia da Istituto Universitario “Alicia Alonso” – Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, per il “percorso formativo biennale per insegnante di danza sulla metodologia di Cuba Balletto Classico”.
Gino è un amante della danza inarrestabile è il suo desiderio di condividere le sue emozioni, le sue passioni e le sue idee sempre così moderne e paradossalmente quasi di natura avanguardista.
