Drappeggi inconsueti si annodano in sete liquide, come legami interrotti che ancora si intrecciano. Organze trilobate, leggerissime, attraversate da righe coloniali si aprono in plissé irregolari, come memorie che vibrano ai margini della pelle.
Le superfici ricamate in foglie di corda diventano mappe del corpo e della memoria. Le strutture ergonomiche, quasi autoindossate, modellano i volumi attraverso una sartorialità intima: orli rimessi, crinoline nascoste che fioriscono in spirali, come boccioli trattenuti nel tempo.
Una femminilità tra il romantico e l’etereo, attraversata da una tensione sororale che vibra sotto la seta.

Unexpected drapes are knotted in liquid silks, like severed ties still trying to intertwine. Featherlight trilobed organzas, crossed by colonial stripes, open into irregular pleats, like memories vibrating at the edges of the skin.
Surfaces embroidered with rope-shaped leaves become maps of the body and of memory. Ergonomic structures, almost self-wearing, shape volumes through intimate tailoring: reassembled hems, hidden crinolines blooming in spirals like
buds held back intime.
A femininity suspended between the romantic and the ethereal, crossed by a sisterly tension that pulses beneath the silk.

La palette cromatica racconta un paesaggio dell’anima: butter, sky, dusty, coral cream, sand, ivory, natural, yellow white, black e red si rincorrono in una sinfonia materica di toni sussurrati e accenti vitali. I colori non dominano: accarezzano, accompagnano, emergono in trasparenze, stratificazioni, contrasti timidi.
For Spring-Summer 2026, Romeo Gigli – under the creative direction of Alessandro De Benedetti –continues his narrative of fragility and strength, crafting a collection that is ritual and healing, beauty and rupture.
The color palette tells the story of a soulscape: butter, sky, dusty, coral cream, sand, ivory, natural, yellow white, black and red chase each other in a material symphony of whispered tones and vital accents. The colors do not dominate: they caress, accompany, and emerge through transparencies, layering, and subtle contrasts.
I tessuti sono strumenti poetici: reed lace, cotone svizzero, voile in seta, canvas di juta, organza crepon, gauze, metal duchesse, fill coupé, plissé, viscosa enzimata. Ogni superficie è attraversata da una narrazione tattile, come un linguaggio segreto tra corpo e abito.
La struttura non è mai rigida. Le silhouette si fanno mobili, scultoree, ma intime: vestono non per definire, ma per evocare.
Fabrics become poetic instruments: reed lace, Swiss cotton, silk voile, jute canvas, organza crepon, gauze, metal duchesse, fil coupé, plissé, enzyme-washed viscose.
