HECTOR ALBERTAZZI
FROM GOLDSMITHING KNOW-HOW TO CONTEMPORARY JEWELRY
The story of Hector Albertazzi began in 1983, in a small jewelry workshop in Brazil, where the designer created and handcrafted pieces using precious materials.
A defining moment came with a commission for a collection of gold-plated metal jewelry inspired by works found in museums and antique objects. This experience marked the beginning of Hector Albertazzi’s journey into luxury costume jewelry, bringing together traditional jewelry-making expertise and contemporary design research.
In 2009, the eponymous brand was established. Semi-precious stones and crystals became part of the collections, alongside the brand’s distinctive Vintage Gold and Antique Silver finishes, applied to rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
Production remains in-house and rooted in manual, artisanal processes, while the brand’s dialogue with fashion has also developed through limited-edition collaborations with Carol Ribeiro, Lolitta, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Iódice and À La Garçonne, among others.
A journey spanning more than four decades, bringing together material, craftsmanship and a distinctive design identity in contemporary jewelry.
